In the States, you can just walk in to the Public Service Department (in Texas .. other states may differ) and buy a new license plate to replace the one you have on your cars. Anyway once in 5 years you will be required to replace them as the reflective paint become less reflective. I do not know whether you can asked for the same number though. Well maybe you can, because there are a lot of those personalized license plates... you may have to fork out some additional money though.</blockquote>
