A 3.91 on a 46m will be insane, maybe a bit too insane. LSD units can be varied to taste. The one on my turd-bo is a 4 plate. Is pretty grabby when at parking lot speeds, but helps mucho on traction. Lots of difference between the lsd on my M and the turd-bo, but cant really compare as tq levels are different also and LSD build is different. And I'm no track guru, so all this on my dweeb observations. A similiar one to mine is being built for a bmw drag car, approx 900-1000whp, looking for a 8 second pass. we'll see how that goes. :love:Nothing on price wise yet, but I wont really follow-up if there's no interest.

[QUOTE="ramsing, post: 25152, member: 4754"] Just wanted to gauge the interest on the above. Since the E34 m5, E36 M3 and E46 M3 all use the 210mm diff casings, am wondering if there's an interest in this. Since no other E34 M5 buddies :(, I thought I'll post here. If I'm not mistaken, E36M3 6 spd is 3.23 and e46m3 is 3.46. So 3.73/3.91 is more for track orientation, but because of your 6th gear, it 'might' be still liveable on the highway. A 3.91 on a 46m will be insane, maybe a bit too insane. :)LSD units can be varied to taste. The one on my turd-bo is a 4 plate.
