I dont visit this forum as i used to. Just realised by looking at the posts that the activity level seems to have droopped.

Is it because of the forum site moving address?

I agree. So boring now. :-(
All the knowledgable gurus have left the forum.

Anxious, Splee, Iceman68.. look forward to your sharing and showcase more in the forum.

oi M...self promote ar. hahahah

come back la to the forum, its so happening now. u go fb, they will ban you and dont say sorry. actually, here also they will ban you and dont say sorry. hahaha.

i'm surpised ppl still asking if this place is alive. maybe should follow A&W PJ, and put going out of business sign. then people might come back. :D

Would love suggestions on how we can get more people to be more active in the forums :)

In comparison with similar forum overseas, in my opinion this forum imposes too much restrictions on the content posted. To me this is an adult forum and not a kids forum. Some degree of adult contents and discussions would be great to spice up the forum. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean nudity or porn content though. And also some degree of discussion on current issues and politic should also be allowed. Of course with moderations. This forum is getting more and more boring everyday. Sorry I don't mean to offend, but I don't see a future in this forum if you continue to run it the same way like you did before. Forum got to evolve and change and remain relevant. That's just my opinion. Please don't BAN me.

yes bring back the adult content.. but there are also ladies/wifes/gf here, so do it in good taste.

Less restriction and rules.. Most of us are adults anyway to drive a car.

No politics please.. It will always get people :motz: .

Forum was doing fine until the changeover to the new platform ... people like familiarity and are always resistant to change.

Better revert back to the old forum and you will get back the traffic.

And I agree 1000% with Jarance ... No politics pls it can get real ugly real quick.

totally agree with B33mEr on change of platform, downtime and politics.

Guess most of the forumers hv switched to FB which is convenient and user friendly I suppose..to be honest, I did the same too at 1 point of time..only realized how precious this forum is to me after I deactivated my FB..i hv no intention to reactivate my FB back, so this forum is gona be my best soul as how it is now..the best platform i've got to learn stuffs about cars..thanks to all the sifus here..cheers guys..

When browsing the web based site, the 'Recent Topics' box on the right is very out dated. It shows posts from yesterday.
If you use Tapatalk, you can select Timeline and see the latest posts that has been replied.

This alone makes the web based forum browsing experience a let down. Hope the admins can look into some improvements.

Thanks.

Mavik, can we allow the "View new content" accessible even without logging in?

Awesome Mavic. Thanks for the explanation. The last forum engine had a table at the top showing recent posts aka forum lowyat style.

Can't do that without changing the core programming where I probably need a programmer to make these custom settings.
