Anyone out there who can help me fixing my FM frequency on the radio that stop at 90Mhz (japan spec). Please help... please

Hi there,

It's a common problem on all Jap spec vehicles with an FM tuner. Swing by your usual car audio or accessories shop and they'll get it fixed with an FM frequency converter. That should do the trick.

I had the similar problem. I did a bit of research and managed to sort it out. I didn't do any modification or add the frequency booster. It was just the setting. PM me and I'll share with you. Who knows, it might also work for you. BTW the my ride is a '02 BMW 525i MSport Jap Specs.

bro, not all 01' model can be reset. mine's exactly like urs. i went for the converter...

Why not show everyone here how you are able to reprogram the radio. No need PM or email lah....

Go to www.bimmerfest.com

Do a search on "radio service menu"

and you will know the tricks how to make 3 and possibly 5 series radios workable in this region. Unfortunately 7 series not applicable

Should be charging RM400 per "reprogramming" like so many out there
