So I did the required:-1) Lodge a police report within 24 hrs (the other party I believe didn't lodge - he is a P license driver and the car probably isn't insured under his name).2) Went to see the Investigation Officer (traffic) and explained my case. The results is pending. Not sure how long will this take?3) Got all the documents ready to go to AB tomorrow, with intention to claim the other party's 3rd party insurance, and not touch my NCD. Can anyone advise if this is the way or did i miss out on any step? When I was getting my Salinan Report, there was this runner who told me that the workshop will claim my insurance and affect my NCD. And the investigation officer will take a long time to make a decision. I know he is probably trying to scare and hoping to get him to things, but just wanted to find out from you guys if this is the case?I want to go back to AB (I already called and they say they will do the necessary), and repair the reverse sensor, bumper and everything that may have caused by that knock without claiming my insurance or NCD.
