pardon me if this question have been asked lotsa time XD i am located in kl, anyone know where i can get a decent fender rolling service? preferably which doesnt require repaint..:) i tried searches can hardly find any in kl

I have sent u a PM. Tell the shop the Treasurer of BMW Club Malaysia sent u. And call him first before u go, just to fix an appointment and to ensure the tools are available.

If u are an Official Member, his price is even better.

This paint shop in front of Sunway food court does fender rolling too. They have the roller but they won't guarantee your paint will not crack.

did mine in jeembo garage kajang ....never go wrong with this guy ... great wok and manage to keep my paint intact

Wah! So many interested meh? Pakai ori la! Apa mau ketuk ketuk?! :stupid:

The shop is in USJ Subang,

Quick-Save Auto Boutique (USJ7)
Tel: +603 5636 0917, +603 5632 0178
Business Hour: Monday - Saturday: 8.30am - 7.00pm

Seriously, I don't like to recommend workshop or mechanic. If the customer I introduce is kaki busuk, I kena from the workshop, and if the mechanic didn't do a go job, also I kena from u all.

Same rules apply, buyer beware and willing buyer, willing seller.

Show him your membership card of this club, u might get lucky in the pricing! and he knows if he doesn't do a good job on my official member's car, he's gonna get it from me.. :listen: :p

Mind u, he's not a BMW specialist but tyre business is his staple.

He also sells the DC compressor, Official Member confirm gets additional discount. The last group buy I did is through this shop.

Good luck!

P/S: .. like what tamade7 said, paint crack is not guaranteed when involving bending of painted surface. At least, this fella use proper tools and not brute force hammering.. :D

I did mine at Sunway...they hv a proper tool to preven d paint crack during d rolling process but also depend d paint condition, if ori paint sure ok...u can call one of d partner at 0163588333,ah seng...

The usual process involves in heating the fender with a heat gun so that the paint become soft enough to be mendable and not easily crack ...

any shop name ah?

a note : also depends of the car type ...as e39 is much more harder to roll compared with the e36/e46 ...maybe due to the metal composition which tend not to bend out/roll out easily ...

therfore for e39 the rolling gadget need to be kept static for sometime before you can move an inch to the next level ...so you need atleast half a day ...
