Hi Herbert, Changed the Vanos Seal on my M50TUB25 last saturday along with some other things on my ride. Can feel the difference especially the low-torque which was missing earlier. After re-aligning the cam, my engine runs smoother. FC also improve, a-bit, not too significant. To date, has clock in 100km and has another 220km to run-in the seal and feel that the response is getting better. Along with the seal replacement, i also took the opportunity to clean and align my CAMS, ICV, change the ICV breather Valve and hose, waterpump as well as the aircond and fan belt + oil change and oil filter. Total set-back $$$ - RM800 for all the works and parts stated. My mech also ask, when is the next group purchase for the seal as he intends to order some. Thanks.
