Would have been a quick job if it wasn't because of the constant customers coming in. We had 4 sets of seals to replace so my mech sourced a 2nd hand vanos and replaced that seal before hand. Just swapped the unit in, cleaned up the sealant on the valve seal before reapplying and it's a go.Not sure if it's the placebo effect but I noticed the power delivery in the lower rpm ranges were much smoother and more readily available at hand. I also noticed my flat spot I get between 1.5k to 2k rpm in 2nd gear is no longer present. It's not a recurring issue but intermittently I do get that whenever I shift from 1st to 2nd so I can't be 100% sure it's a vanos or ECU issue due to the mods I have on the car.I still have around 600km to go before fully running in the seals so I'll report back again once the run in process is completed.cheers.</blockquote>
