Hi,Was wondering if anyone has installed any aftermarket exhaust systems on their F30. If so, what type are you using? Interested in a sporty, throaty growl but not sure if there's any for the 316i? :p

You can try Eisenmann. Great sound but does not come cheap though. For cheaper option, you can go for Remus.

Bros, lets try to keep this thread alive. Unlike F30 328i, For F30 320i or 316i the after market exhaust option is hardly any at this moment. I had browsed through the webs and the most I could find was one who install m perf. exhaust and had to custom fit because the smaller pipe dia. in 320i. There are you-tube on Remus and Eisenmann by a couple of guys however the sound is not there I think, maybe because F30 320i after market exhaust either being researched or not coming at all :(.

Supersprint (pic below) came with one below which he said fit F30 320i aknowledging the need to adapter for the small pipe diameter, pretty much new (just this Sept13), thus how good, how fierce is the roar no one can testitfy.

Back to home here - I would really interested if any of the rusted jacket bro has installed a new exhaust for his F30 320i.

So, let's share share for common interest, what say you bros? :)

Ya, I like the Eisenmann. Where can you get that and how much will it cost?

Eisenmann is very very expensive. The last I enquire it's more than $10k if I can still remember. Can try buy in Singapore for a better deal.

You can ask the workshop to ship back the old exhaust for you for a small fee if you are buying from them. Some workshops even can ship the new exhaust to KL. They have Jalan how to avoid tax.

You don't have to look far. All sorts of Aftermarket exhausts are found all over amongst the Rusties. Remus? Check. M-Performance? Check. Kelleners? Check. M-Performance on a 320i? Check. Akrapovic? Pending.

For any and all your F30 needs, please see Maroonbug. He will be able to sort you out.

So which aftermarket exhaust is the best bang for buck then in terms of performance and sound? :)

Unfortunately, this is a rather subjective question. What I may find orgasmic, you may find tame. The best thing you can do is hear all these exhausts in person and see which you like best. Whichever you like best is what you can consider the best bang for the buck.

Besides the sound, you have to consider the quality and design of the exhaust especially the visible exhaust tip, single? Twin? Or quad? Different exhaust design requires different rear diffuser and maybe bumper. And the brand name is also important as it is associated with status and class. Just like LV, Burberry and so on. And lastly the performance. Other than sound and aesthetic, you are unlikely to gain anything from a cat back exhaust modification. Only if you change the down pipe and cat then maybe you can gain some hp.

Drive it back on a weekday. So far no kacau. Few friends did it before from my vw days. Even if they ask, just say bring to repair, claim warranty. :D

They are more particular with tires. Exhaust not so much
