I have booked a F20 118i sport, a PS unit. But still thinking about 320d. A few tenth of K in price difference.

Any comment abt the comparison?

Dear Shama,

i can sense you're in a dilemma. Your brain says 118i but your heart is screaming the 320D. I was at that cross-road. My advise, cancel the 118i and take the 320D. you're going to use this car for say 3-5 years and i bet everytime you drive the 118i, deep down in your heart you will say, if only i took that 320D. my 2 cents.

118i is a car made for single ladies and not for men, to me I like to see men driving a fast and luxury looking 320D....his wallet needs to be thick enough as well to maintain this lovely car

Hi bro,

that is exactly what i am thinking... but my this is meant for my mrs and she like a smallish kind of car but you know what is in my heart. Will try to present the situation and see if it can be turned around...

yes you are right, the softer gender seems to have a soft spot for this car but not necessarily for single ladies only.

Get the d bro, you won't regret it. I certainly did regret after selling off my e90 320d with BMW power kit. After dancing with another German slut from ingolstadt for 1.5 years, my romance with the BMW diesel was rekindled after a test drive of the 328i GT, 520i, 520d and 528i

Nothing beats the feeling of that monstrous (and very useful) torque rush everytime the pedal is feathered (doesn't even have to be floored). The 28i engine is a blast too but you gotta Rev the baby high to invoke those adrenaline rush and if your driving is mostly city based with the occasional highway spurts, nothing beats the intensity and practicality that only the d could afford.

there are some goodies you can get if you get a 3 series now i think.. very good year end discounts + 5 years BSRI ~~ i am driving a 316i and i think it's quite ok in term of power too, may be you can consider that then diff will drop by 30k :) ~~ my 2 cents too

If you wanna try out a BMW then yeah 316i is a good way to start since it loses out very little on spec compared to the 320i and with our massive traffic jams + rempit time only reserved for those long stretches of highway you rarely get to zoom a lot.

But once you have it then you will start wishing damn why didn't I pick the 320d for more low end torque & FC benefits or the 328i for mini rocket power haha....

320d is a sweet car. The torque is addictive and the drive is sensational. Have not tested the 118i but did a comparison between the 320i and 320d and my decision was made. D it is.

There's a couple of very sweet looking demo 320d M sport fully kitted with all BMW performance parts from rims, body kits to inside trimmings at BMW quill PJ. Stunning!

Apparently, asking around 250k with 5 years BSRI negotiable.

Bros,

Ok, i m exploring the F30 option.

there is this 320i sport edition which is up-kitted with some features of M sport items that of 328i. i read in paultan, it comes with idrive with navigation. But no mention if it is also equipped with BMW App. Any sifu here can enlighten if the infotainment system is the loaded with BMW app??

thanks...

Why don't you confirm with the dealers instead. Just a phone call away.

The 320i sport edition does not equipped with BMW App but is with ConnectDrive though
