GUys i visited Jaafar's place in Sunway about 14 months ago to do my exhaust repacking done .My initial stock rear box was almost emtied of the fibre's inside .Went to the SIFU . He removed the whole box and did a repacking and also modified the flow a bit to get a more bassy sound . Result . : The accelaration felt nice and tight , sound was 95% sebring ( Yes Jaafar is a magician ) and boy i was darn satisfied .Its been 14 months now and i feel that the box is still good and feels the same like it was . All in all... i only spent like 350 bucks .. drova awaya happy man ..cheersp/s : For optimum results get jaafar to do it personally . :D

Maybe when I'm on leave we can go there to introduce? I know weekends are useless - like most shops, they are too busy. Nanti some one else does the job - potong! I have no complaints about the existing power, I just want something that sounds more garang.

chief, thanks for the info. but i remember in the old threads, ifSIFU doesnt do it personally it wont be as good. Is this true? Also how long will it take?thanks chief :D :D :D :D

Agree with macha on this. I've been to Jaafar & have no complains so far.Important to go on a weekday morning (he opens at 10 am) & tell him the problem & what final result you want. Jaafar is experienced enough to know what exactly to do. He may delegate the work to his right hand man (a skinny avg. height Malay chap from Johor) & this guy is relaible. Jaafar will then check on his work periodically to ensure quality. Mine was done by the budak & I'm very happy with the results.

I did mine back in August. I think it's by that 'budak', he's quite experience from what I observed from my 2 trips there.. First trip was to fixed my leaky extractor, 2nd trip was to repack the rear box and to change the center box. I got a fairly good deal for the repack, centerbox and new piping from the center box to the rear box.... ;)

Also did mine at Jaafar's about half year ago. If you want your 4-potter to sound like a regular 6-pot, he's the genius to see ... :D

Yeah .... if u guys wanna do as group lemme talk to jaafr and see if he can provide a good discount ...cheers :D

Yeah... interested too... since 4 pot can have the 6 pot sound... can a 6 pot have the M3 sound??? :D

actually i been there few year back to get my potong exhaust modified, till now it still look good...

three28,wat bout the whole setup? :D :D :D

Jax: 6 pot can have M3 exhaust sound, but not the top-end (cam, valves) trashy sound and induction roar. Its so distinctive that one can differentiate the real M3 a mile away.

Shite bro!!! That sounds like an IDEA!!Let me know if this is on!!

hehe old friend of mine, even did my race car in his workshop, everyday after class for three months. Pinjam workshop.. He is a nice guy and superb quality work. Just be nice to him and tell him your budget. He'l find something for you. Did some work on my ex's car last time, installed Apexi Megaphone dunk on GTi, tedious work.. and he charged me 1800 for that.. considered cheap, inclusive of stainless steel piping, center resonator, stitch weld.. and labour. job needed 6 hours to complete and it was superb. No one will ever touch my pipes unless him...hehe
