Exhaust cut-out on Mtech II rear bumper

Does anyone here knows why is my e30 rear exhaust cut-out is not align with the Mtech 2 rear bumper exhaust cut-out.View attachment 21439View attachment 21438

Perhaps the car had large tail pipe which requires the bumper to be cut to fit the pipes.

if yours was a M40 body with a 318 M40 engine, then it's small, but if your was a M40 body but a original 325i M20B25 engine, then it will align correctly...

Car is a M40 body with M20B20 engine. Rear bumper is for a M40 body with M20B25 engine.

correctto.... the M40 M20B20 has a single exhaust, wherelse the B25 is twin. so you can cut it bro. just treat it with anitrust and primer with some body seal.
