Let's have one thread for any engine oil promotions or price discount that you know off. BAVAUTO (Subang Jaya branch) still has stocks left of BMW SUPER POWER 5W-40 (what a name! lol) at RM35 per bottle (1 quart) it is LL-98 but it's original. In hindsight I should have bought the BMW oil but already called and commit to the seller to buy the Pennzoil oil Bardhal Fully Synthetic 5W-40 at RM90, but you can haggle for another RM5 discount if you're good, at PJ section 8 (near PJ Hilton and KFC) where there is rows of spare part shops ...Update 08/12/11 Bro IanDaddy report Tesco Extra Taman Midah is selling Castrol Edge 0w/40 for RM169.90 for 4 litres and Shell Helix Ultra 5w/40 fully syn for RM139.90. yeh a good thread to share ..but we need to be carefull as these days there are lotsa fakey wannabe lubricant's out there ...and also do buy from a seller who deals with only lubricant's and had some things to share on it's product used, rather than some1 new whom is just offering something cheaper out of no where wanting to cash easy $$$.

i don't mind buying oil with a higher price tag but i'll make sure it's from a repurtable seller, user or a trusted spare part shop....usually the spare part shop owners are good to identify the fake stuff..

^^^ Totally agree with what you say bro we have to be careful nowadays but i'm pretty confident about the Pennzoil oil since UMW is the distributor just like Cycle & Carriage is the distributor Bardhal oil in M'sia that's why i'm buying it this afternoon.

Another good seller is www.myoilstore.com but they're based in Johor and will courier. Too bad they don't stock Castrol Syntec 0W-30 anymore

Been using this ROWE SAE 5W30 as well, but the oil disappeared quite quickily... I have to top up 1 liter after 3K. Maybe that's why it comes in 5 liter... Service at 4 liter, then hv to top up the remaining 1 liter after 3K. BTW, my ride is a N42 e46 year 2003.

Been using this ROWE SAE 5W30 as well, but the oil disappeared quite quickily... I have to top up 1 liter after 3K. Maybe that's why it comes in 5 liter... Service at 4 liter, then hv to top up the remaining 1 liter after 3K. BTW, my ride is a N42 e46 year 2003.

I think it may due to N42 engine itself, mine also have to top up at 3k km using synthium 800 semi syn.

Will your engine runs smoothly with the semi syn? How long before you have to change the liquid? 5K? I did mine between 5-7K depending on how long it has been used even with the fully syn to avoid slugh.

so far, compared to shell helix ultra, castrol edge, motul....i prefer this revenol..........
