Empty key shell replacement

Guys I was wondering if I could duplicate this key (http://www.notrying.com/index.php?route=product/product&manufacturer_id=8&product_id=49) and just put my current transponder inside.Can our local locksmith do it?

Hey Jarance how you doing?
Nothing wrong with my key, just that its worn out and just wanna maintain everything of it to look new haha.

Even the bmw logo also faded.. tak syiok already.

the plastic can be clean with plastic conditioner. as for the faded logo, can buy from tboon.

buying the empty box key is ok and you can cut the key open n transfer the pcb to the next casing.
to cut the key, you can do it for about rm50 to 60 at locksmith with special cutter.

Wow your China key charging coil is very big i think can charge more power. The China key that i have dont have the charging coil as big as yours.

Bro i just bought the keys from that site (got discount now), my key blades also turning yellow so I rather change the whole thing. Next need to find time to cut the blade only.. New key = new car. Hahaha..

Wow cool ! It have to buy online or can drop by to collect ? Mine old key look tak shiok also la.. The Key blade can put back the old blade or not actually ?

U drop them an email and see, im sure it can be arranged. I've got a paypal account so no problemo..

The blade is attached to the back of the key, so in your case you can only use the top cover.

It not as simple as that. If you cut open the key just to change the top cover. it might not work cos the china casing is clip on type whereas the original key is completely sealed and glue together. You may have to file down the new casing and glue back the cover with black silicon. I have done it before and it is not noticeable when the glue is dried.

As for the transfer of the original key (metal blade) to the new casing, it is not possible cos the metal blade is casted into the plastic casing.

Roger bro.. Any issue if take out myself for the ori key, since you said is sealed and glue?! But the ECU board was no issue to put into the China key right ? Also, any issue if we use China key to charge the remote battery ?
