ECU Remap

Hi all,I was wondering where can I perform an ECU remap for my car. I have searched thru the forum and all the remap gathering were long gone. Anyone have the contact for a good ECU remapper? I have read thru the thread but seems like each remap technique have their own pros/cons. So I need the opinions of you guys that have done it. What type of remap is better and the advantage/disadvantage. My ride is an E39 M54 525. Anyone that want to perform the remap can tag along. Thanks in advance.

got a few remap options in town...upsolute, hiop etc.

sometimes Bernard of BVO Singapore also comes down to KL to do remaps.

I am thinking of doing the remapping, as I noticed that when I floor my accelerator pedal, there is a split second delay before the car shoots off. I emailed Bernard of BVO who said that remapping the ecu will fix this. I also visited Projek Euro Tuning website and found that for my BMW 530i E39 M54 there will be an increase in HP from 231 to 246. However their cost is RM 2,300.

Bernard, said that Feisal of BCM used to arrange 5 or more cars and he will make the trip down. He did not mention what he would charge for each car but I was informed by another member on this forum that it would be in the region of RM1,000.

Basically, I am trying to put a group together to get Bernard to come up to KL and remap our cars.

I will try to get a price indication. I will post a new thread in the Tech section to see if anyone is interested to be part of this.

if you remap fro BHP yes. If you remap for torque not really. Advise is to remap for more torque
