In essence, you'll need an INPA-EDIABAS compatible cable to get EasyDIS to work which easily available on eBay and such. The cable I've made and USB-to-serial converter pair is able to autodetect my car.Installation of INPA-EDIABAS is a breeze but needed for EasyDIS to work since it will use EDIABAS to talk to the vehicle. INPA is English here unlike the others. Everything should be ok if you follow the documentations to the letter.One thing that I did wrong is that setting the protocol as Softing and not Fister. And note that, EasyDIS is modified from the original application to work with INPA-EDIABAS interface. So the bar showing connection health to the yellow diaghead will not work (as my screenshot below).
