So i went to find out more about having a car in Langkawi, which u dont have any race track or highway to run, what if u wan to bring the car out to Peninsula.... 1) there's a certain deposit for the "KASTAM" in the form of bank guarantee that u have to pay before getting the car out from the island. 2) only 30 days / year which the car can be out from the island is allowed! 3) u pay almost only 30% of the road tax compared to the normal. 4) and if u decided to bring the car out to peninsula one day, u will have to pay the duty. RM370K duty as for now tht we know, perhaps there're way to make tht figure goes down abit. 5) best thing is, the bank agree on laon upon the local market price of the GTR as there's no official price just yet. Perhaps we can get the loan in stanby for the duty paying in 1-2 years time.!!!:love: well....paying the so called duty will save u the above trouble accept for (3).
