Planing to change new shoe due to time to replace new tyres...using 17" 225 45 17 for front 255 40 17 for rear RFT...so need bro out there advise..if I go for 18" wat brand tyres shud i select n do I still need stick with RFT since I got no spare tyres for my back boot...pls any taiko can help on this...many many thank for advise.

I stuck to 17s same size. Cost effective tires are Toyo T1 Sports, Champiron or Kumho.
Am using the Toyo 17s rear now and find them very grippy. Cost less than RM800 per pc. Fronts are less than RM500 per pc.
The Champirons and Kumhos though no personal experience, some rempit kings are using them with pretty good experience thus far. And they are cheap as heck. If these guys can use them, then they're pretty solid I would say.
If you are upgrading rims to 18s for cosmetics, probably give the above a try, or Goodyear Asym. Some are using them and are very happy as well.
I bought a spare kit for long drives, just in case. For in Klang Valley use, i don't carry the spare around normally. U can get it from Euro Tuner or Lim Tayar or Quick Save. Price varies.

Bro can I know how much u bought for the spare kit? And where can get it?...actually I prefer for ex sizes but after the tt wef all the taiko found that mine rim is pretty small...if I maintain ex size I will try find new rim wef pretty offsets...maybe 17 with 9 or 9.5jj for rear...but abit hard to find such jj in 17".

Prob best to test all the shops above. I bought mine for 1300 but then that was via a GB. Try Lim Tayar Tmn Tun. They usually have stock but not sure of the price.
If you are gonna change rims might as well go for 18s or 19s. 18s if you want a bit of comfort and probably best compromise. 19s for the hard core driver in you. But ride is rough.

19" will look the best if you are willing to sacrifice some comfort. Spotted a silver E90 with 19" BBS CH-Rs at Ikano tonight and it looked very very good.

Comfort and aesthetics are subjective though. One man's meat is another man's poison.

18 inch you can try Nexen n800 tyres bro..price wise around 500 like that per tyre. 18 inch will looks good on e90.

Yes bro...I'm thinking too...klang got shop offer me 235 40 18 for rm470 265 35 18 for rm570

To me 18" or 19" not much different. 18" low profile tires are almost the same as for 19"

Those n800 18" prices can also buy 19" Achilles ATR Sport tires.

Bro NKTOB, how is the dry and wet grip on the Achilles tires? Haven't tried em before.

no complaints so far, it's a directional pattern. Surprisingly with it's cheaper cost, I find them very practical to run in our wet & hot climate, as compared to my other 19" Michelin Pilot Super Sport which cost a bomb!

they can also be rotated left & right.

Hmm interesting. Maybe will give em a try next round of tire change.
So .. where did you get em from?

Try TE37 replica yesterday...front 18" 9jj rear 18" 10jj...wat ur guys think?

Depends on your budget. Best to go for original wheels if within your budget.

But seriously feel abit weird with euro car with Japanese shoe on foot...hahaha
