Ok all, So as mentioned before, ive already hit the magical 6 figures on my car...Thought ide share whats been done so far.1. Changed the front rotors and pads in October - RM800-00http://www.bmwclubmalaysia.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7858&page=1172. Did the 100000km service at Benson Auto, ss2 PJ, which included the following - Engine oil (Caltex 4L)- Oil Filter (Original)- Air Filter (Original)- Spark Plugs, Bosch Platinum (originals are NGK)Total RM 480-00Sadly, noticed a slight oil leak. SO that will also need to be rectified soon.
 
Have been waiting for this thread to see what's the maintenance cost like compare to other models :D

Hope the moderator will make this thread "Sticky" so others can start contributing and establish the maintenance cost database like the E46 thread. Very useful!

Oil leak? looks like a common high performance engine trade off. And I do believe some trashing from the owner involved la... Looks like u really drive her! :D

And hope not too many non-sense thread like my one tainting the thread from its main purpose.. moderator can remove my posting if he/she wishes.. :D

Bro, oil leak...... better go and check this out ASAP.
 
Thought i would just update. My OEM shocks seem to be having trouble. All those bumps on the way to work have caused the front pessenger side to give way....

Anyone care to recommend a new set, or wants to let go pre-owned ?
 
Hi Bimmer910, you still on RFT? The tyre wall of RFT is 3 times thicker than normal tyres, so its 3 times harder, absorber kong 3 times faster, the same goes with bushes and bearings etc..:eek:

How do u find the OEM absorber? You looking for stiffer absorber?
 
Bimmer910, I would recommend you Koni FSD. Pair that with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and your car will look wonderful. If you want stock absorbers, maybe you want to consider mine as I may want to change mine to Koni FSD soon. But I dunno what price to sell mine :(

Bro astro,

I dont think the tyres are the reason by absorbers are having trouble. Mostly its just bad road conditions. Anyhoot, im glad they lasted this long.... :)

David how many kms does your car have on it ? Absorbers with less than 10k might be ok for me....

I'm thinking of keeping my ride stock standard.

My hartge replica add on lip is available. Its already painted silver hehe. You want to add some glam to your ride ? :top:

Forget about my absorbers. It has 30k kms.

Hartge add on lip ??? Where and how much ?
