It allows the system to set all parameters for proper functions and performance. always good practice to turn off all electricals before you shut the system down for a more propoer startup the next time. after ignition although no warm up is required give your car about 10 seconds to run before shifitng into gear and driving off. This is just good foreplay before having fun with the car. Since all off us see our beemers as our play thing anyway.</p></blockquote><p></p>
