The latest info is this, due to so many complaints and the huge costs incurred by BMW in repairing damaged engines, the authorised dealers are now re-setting oil change intervals much closer even under BSRI, which in my view will certainly fix the problem i.e. such issues won't arise anymore if you're under BSRI. I think they should have done this earlier in light of our hot weather, but for EuJax, this means no such problems in future, I hope.</p></blockquote><p></p>
