Other pollutants are more of harmful to the health but is far less concern than the former. On 320d nose pointing to the ground i agree that is to emit any particulates directly to the ground . I think this is a clever design to make the 320d more environmental friendly, and not because it is a diesel engine. if u notice ,some previous models such as the 5series e39 also has exhaust pointing to the ground.</blockquote>
