Since it was a pain in a ass, I tried living with it a few weeks. I did the same 'popping' thinghi procedure as well and tried the above but did not work. Prepared to change my side mirrors, I decided a 'rougher' approach. I started 'whacking' my side mirror into place forcefully (hoping to mimic the accidental brush I had with the other car) BUT on the other direction instead....by luck and much prayer, my side mirror adjusted well after that and is working like normal again <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" />....</p></blockquote><p></p>
