Since nobody give any advice, i went ahead and have the knock sensor replaced. Parts + labour RM800. Didnt feel much different also, car still feel inferior and not any lighter as claimed by foreman before replacement. The car still lack of power and when accelerate from slowing down, it has some jerk before moving forward. Not satisfied and continue to read the forum subject pertaining to Jerk, power lag, tuning, powerbox, sprint booster, software update, resetting etc.... I even went and install the sprint booster for a trial. it actually made the car very responsive but the 'smoothness' is still not there when accelerate hence it defeat the purpose. Still analysing what can be done further. Read a thread about checking the ignition coil, plug and fuel sensor. Went and have the car check for the items and found out plug and ignition coil is from day1 of my 525i car 2007 pre lci and the fuel sensor is still in good condition. Went ahead an have all the coils and plugs replaced. I also asked for the adaptive to be reset. The car is indeed lighter and more responsive when accelerate but i can still feel a very slight jerk and hungry for gas kind of thing when accelerate from a u-turn or a slow down. Can any one help with further action to be taken? I know the next move will be a costly one... have the megatronic replaced.
