E53 4.6iS Radiator Issues

Hi, ran into a situation yesterday where the engine overheated and spurted out the coolants and whatever liquid contents that were in the radiator. Car is an '02 model, 4.6iS. Has anybody ran into similar problems? What will the price of a radiator and is it easily gotten here in Klang Valley?Looking forward to any suggestions or heads up here.Thanks

Raj, it could not be the radiator is the problem. could be other factors, jammed thermostat or head gasket problem.

Please do a pressure and idle test to check.

Did you see the leak on the radiator? Where's the water coming out from?

Towed the vehicle to a foreman and looks like the oil cooler is leaking and this could have been happening for sometime now. Water from the tank somehow has sipped in to the gearbox. Doing a flush first. Radiator is leaking on the sides. Heavy gush flowing out thick cream coloured liquid.

Aiyoo....gearbox oil already mixed with coolant. All the best bro. Hopefully it will be kind to the wallet.

Popped by the workshop to check on the X and found that there wasn't any signs of water leaking to the gearbox. All were intact. The water tank and the radiator were drained off the potent mix of water, coolant and oil. Now, where the hell did this oil come from?
