AB used to bring in these... the 318I touring, the 01 model comes with the 115 BHP 1.8....
Currently there is a white pre facelift car for sale on Mudah... Not looking too nice..

This is what potentially can be mod to.... Nice..

there is a pre-facelift maroon 318, lady driven ..

i see it evryday in bangsar..

325i... Sweet...

Actually 318i is not bad.. I had the 2000 318ci 5 Speed Manual during Uni days and is more than enough on motorway ( 70MPH) and city driving (30Mph) restrictions...
I also loaded with 18 inch staggered wheels.

But if got 325 touring, thats the best!
In Imola red and M sport Kit

Haha.. I use to have an 318ci 5speed also, i'm lose with this 1.8 Altis in the straight near Sri Hartamas at 180KM/H towards to bangsar, some more show me this:thumpdown:, I was damn mad man ! So i know 318 is not my cup of tea, at least 325 ..

I had a 2002 Altis back then too.... Typical JDM with no soul.

Was once doing 190kph on NSH along Seremban, Went through an undulation and the car float like a boat!
Scared the hell out of me and was driving 80Kph the whole stretch back to KL.
It was 2 am then

Good city car as is easy to drive, but highway, can never compare to UDM even 318i.

The chao ah beng who showed you that sign is just another chao ah beng.. no need to bother with him

Yeah man..

One time, One Chao Ah Beng driving a white Altis was threatening to throw a hammer to my car after overtaking me on NSH.
Is it because I was driving a Sg plate car?

Scared the hell out of me!

Wow ! Are you serious dude !! Why out of sudden throw you a hammer ?!?!

yeah man...
It was last year when I was travelling alone from Sg back to KL.
Saturday late morning it was, doing about 130kph on the fast lane.. then suddenly a white altis at the back storming down and tailgate me.... keep flashing along the way, I intended to cut in to the middle lane but there was no spot for me to cut in. I pushed the speed up to 150Kph so I can get some clearance to cut in. That chao ah beng keep flashing and tailgating til I cant even see the front bonnet. He has no awareness how dangerous this act was- Actually this is a common occuerence in NSH.
Once I moved over when opportunity arises. I was damn angry as he was putting my life in jeopardy. Showed him an Angry face...
But he cut straight into the middle lane and jammed brake.. I almost hit his back and he was trailing me and blocking my way for good 10-15km while winding down the window and showing his hammer...

It was a scary moment but glad he finally drove off..

Can never forget this and I always practice the rules of safe driving.

To be Honest. Driving a singapore registered car will always be a risk as I have fair share of experiences how inconsiderate certain road users can be..

Wah !!! This is turn to gangster category already ! You must get a M3 to let him eat smoke ! During he tailgate you, can close your eye to 200km/h, see him how to tail.. !

or.. u can buy a 660 cc Kancil Manual basic - white with black bumpers ala Learners car..
Do 80kph on the slow lane.. no car will want to tailgate you.
ahahahaha

Next time don't speed up, slowly slow down until you reach the speed limit and keep finding ways to give him way. Since he is impatient, he will definitely overtake you. If he causes an accident (touch wood), he will be in the wrong for speeding, not you. Also, in the even he causes an accident with you (touch wood again), your chances of survival are definitely higher than his. You are driving a superior car to his.

A chao ah beng will always be a chao ah beng. Drive safe.

Salut

But doing 80KPh on basic kancil feels damn" fast"... is like driving M3 on speed limited 250kPH..
Can get the thrill and the adrenaline from trying to cling on to your life...

After that incident, I seldom drive back to KL. rather take coach or Flight.. Furthermore Flight can be as cheap as 0 fare sometimes.
