E46 repair manual

torx key is a must.

not quite sure what it is. will find out tmr in bomin, suan huat n bavarian auto. my vacuum pump is leaking, and i suspect my my non return valve is damaged thus engine oil entering brake booster and contamination my brake lines. i did not know to own a beemer is that painful for a stingy person like me haha

juts replace the seals and the valve if you can DIY, shouldnt cost you much

you can buy torx as a 10pc set at any hardware shop, around RM 20-30 I think.

My DIY problem now is wife very bising when I fix the car, she'll ask me to jual the car..

By the way, I have Haynes E90 Workshop manual, with the N46 engine repair guide, seriously, tak boleh pakai la! Blurry black/white photo illustration, doesn't help a bit pun and the write up requires a lot of flipping and reference another section.. flip until pengsan!

thx everyone for replying. iceduke yes i downloaded the manual and read thru the braking system already. just wondering any way to rebuild brake booster / drain engine oil out of it until dry and reuse it or do i really have to throw it away if in any case it is found contaminated. pity my bmw it's been sitting there for what 2 months doing nothing. haha
