[QUOTE="Juan Powerblow, post: 68531, member: 20"] My front driver power window finally caved in last night with a broken regulator or lifter. It was about time since all windows been working fine for the last 4 years and 76,000 kms. I tried to arrange for it to be fixed at Auto Bavaria but they could only attend to my car on Thursday (16/6) at Sg. Besi or next Monday (20/6) at Glenmarie. So, I decided to give it to my regular mekanik at Benson Auto SS2. The proprietor of this outlet is a BMW afficiado and owns a E39 528i. The service was as usual very impeccable with immediate attention and detailed explanation of what went wrong and has to be replaced. The final bill came up to RM480 (RM430 for part; RM50 for labour). The parts are original either from Bavarian Auto or Stuttgart. The repair was done quite well and the window works flawlessly now. I checked with some forummers on how much it would have costed me if I insisted on getting it done at Auto Bavaria and was quite pleased to know I got it done cheaper.
