Since the engine block tilts a bit, any leakage due to valve cover gasket will cause engine oil to drip onto exhaust causing smoke in engine bay. Car is 2002 model .... had the gasket changed coz it leaked in Oct 2006. Now 5.5years old, the valve cover is the culprit of leaks and smoke in engine bay. That leak consumed engine oil over a period of 2months till today the engine oil LOW warning light came on.</blockquote>
