Sign of oil can been seen on the floor. Towed the car to Kayu Ara. I've been told gear box oil pump is the culprit. Damaged. Drain the gear box oil and there is a trace of metal debris stick to the magnet in transmission pan. The car has show sign of gear box going to fail like jerking when droping gear and limp mode appear couple of week back. After the limp mode, I cleared the fault code and the car running fine. Decide to change gear box oil and filter after that. It survive our MFest to Genting as well.1. Option 1 - Change the gear box oil pump and some stuff with labour about 2.6k2. Option 2 - Rebuilt gear box 8 - 9kNeed advise on from sifu who has done the rebuilt before and your experience. I've been told that original torx converter for 2.2 is small. I should upgrade to 2.5 torx converter. I was made to understand you can upgrade to 2.8 torx converter as well. Which one best upgrade to? What is the impact. Mechanic said 2.5 is enough. He said 2.8 torx converter gear shift is rather rough.Your advise is very much appreciated.</p></blockquote><p></p>
