Bro V-Man, if i were to be in your shoes now "Touch Wood" i will change the entire ignition, Alarm & Locking System. Prevention is really better than cure at this Stage. And for now you should get a Very Good Steering Lock and also Break Lock then always monitor your Car when ever it is Parked since the thief's took Spare Key.

quick action item is to get a good steering lock... for long term solution... depend on the situations... if in a few months or a year no body disturb your car... then should be okay

You can disable the stolen key by recoding it the EWS.

by recoding the ews, the car cannot start but the key can still open the lock manually.

don't tell me the keys of the 330 was inside the stolen Volvo ?

i think you need to change the entire set up ... try calling bernard ..that SG guys ...who know he knows how to do it ...

if the thief is smart enough then he will be able to reenable the key to be working. i guess that process is quite straight forward.

Can use pa soft to disable the key, no need quotation la

As what haywire said, just a simple few second click using PA Soft to disable the key that you lost. Contact some of the brother here that have PA Soft. I have it too. Staying in Shah Alam if you are nearby.

cool...if this PA Soft can do the trick on a SMG 330i, why not.. thanks for the info

they took the plastic key too
what is it for?
thank you

If I'm not mistaken the plastic key is to disable the alarm. My E34 that I own before use it inside the glove box.

we can change your all your lock combination so that original key cannot be used
and also lock the stolen key so that lost key cannot start the engine.
