Meaning the door lock has been changed. The lock smith never put back the original key thread. If this is the case that lock smith is not good enough. Last time one of the e46 of my friend door lock having problem, then he bought the lock and i help him to change the lock. But i put back the original key thread.I also advised some of our members which meet me before test the start engine key can open the door or not. If not able to open the door then fast make the open door key.</blockquote>
