I myself is having a problem with my sister E46, facelift version. engine is using the "valvetronic" and not the vanos system. If i am not mistaken. The car has been hibernating for quite some time. And lately driving it back and find that there is some major problems with it's gearbox. I have sent it to PKL motorsports at Kuchai Lama. Gearbox recon was qoute for rm8k, but plus and minor with other stuff changed.. bill of repair now is reaching close to 30k.. 0_o wanted to pitam soon if continue service like this. I am wondering after i read the above replies, but i don't think i have options to go other foreman place now because the gearbox warranty is still under this shop for 1 year time being. So therefore, i am hoping that i can understand more on this blardy gearbox. Here is the few problems it existed so far.1. First few round of the gearbox with "I" icon appear, the car straight die and have to restart back. Sent back, everything goes smooth. Asked the foreman, he said he changed the Air mass filter?</blockquote>
