Both engine is M54, no more difference if 2000 or 2001/2002 onwards?2nd, 520 or 523 year made 2001 to 2003.Is it justifiable to pay more for newer car and getting lower output or sticking to more powerful 525 / 528 with older year made?Example, price difference of $6k to $10k. Lastly, the ultimate 530i year 2000 - 2002, is the difference of another $15k over the 525/528 justifiable other than the bragging rights of having the best 3.0 inline 6 engine ever made? I have set aside some budget of $5k to $10k after getting the used unit.. If i managed to get pretty good condition units, then can have more allocation for dressing it up. Hope to hear from E39 owners.. Especially those that faced similar predicament when you decided to purchase the E39... Any TT session coming soon that I can come and drool over the UDMs...
