I didn't notice that the battery is non-rechargable type. Maybe the battery is gone, I have done the "heart surgery" to open out the remote control and will get the battery replaced.. (it seems difficult to take out the battery as it is sealed or stick to the body contact/circuitry).The pre-cut key won't be usable anymore. I just need the remote control to start the engine with the duplicate key as the remote control doesn't need to have a direct contact to the key.. it is RF type.</blockquote>
