E39 Air Intake

Hi there!Wuz wondering is it possible to modify the air intake so that it doesn't sits so low near the fog lights?Problem when rainy season and the roads are flooded.Thanx

Does the stock E39 intake horn actually suck in water during the rainy season ?. I doubt it and at worse, the water will collect below that rectangular container then you can empty it.

If you are talking about CAI modifications, then thats a different story.

Hi ya'll,

Was informed by a friend that if the car get stuck in a flooded road...like high up till underneath the car,there's a high chance that water will get suck into the air intake.
