My first BMW was the e36 318i MANUAL....so many years ago...but i still remember how i regularly drove it along the then Jalan Gopeng in Ipoh with the windows wind down & the audio player off so that i can hear the engine note  ... i still remember .... the brown leather seats & mint dashboard.... it was a beauty to drive, the manual gear shift was very precise & short. in fact i think the e36 still looks sweet & sporty. i still remember ... how after locking it and as i walk away, i would always turn back & look at the car. each time i did that, i said to myself fraking nice car :D p/s the e36 is a lot cheaper to maintain than a proton perdana V6.
