enjoyable servicing.... end-up sad the action + sad story... after service my afm and before fixing back to my car, tot of changing the valve cover gasket due to leaking. so, went to BA, grap the gasket and ready to action. and suddently distributor cap crossed my mind. so open the cap, remove the rotor. Using a flat head sdriver and sand paper i scrubed away the plugs(dirt) on the 4 contact points and the rotor then replace the new valve cover gasket, fix back the afm and the distbtor cap. after finish all, with strong confident i try to start. u guys know wht happen???? my sayang DIDNT START. keep on cranking only. and here my suspects 1) AFM itself- how to check using multimeter the condition? or anyother way?... (* i did bend the wiper-like arm inside afm to create new track on the carbon film..) 2) distributor cap. :- i afraid tht i over scrub and sand the points and rotor. how to check the distrbr condition? i was insert screwdriver in to the cable head which comes from the ignition coil and then crank the engine, only one spark noticed. did the same test but insert the scrwe into the point n1,2,3 and 4 at the distributor cap.. no spark nothing at all --The firing order from bottom should be 1-3-4-2 isnt it?
