When my e36 325i is in Economy mode, the gears shift smoothly and there is no jerking, no problem, kickdown works fine too. However, when I activate the sports mode, even if I just travel at 110km/h consistantly, the transmission light will come on and the car seems to be stuck in 4 gear. Once I stop the car, turn off the ignition, take out the key and restart the car in economy mode everything is fine again. Tried clearing the fault codes, but after erasing them, the computer diagnostic still show fault codes for the tranny. Can't know from the diagnostic what the exact problem is because the Mechanic said the car is not 100% supported by the software. Next step to troubleshoot will be to change the solenoid. Do you sifus think this will work? Any advice will be appreciated.</blockquote>
