hi all, i've just bought a manual e36 325i earlier this year directly from an loving owner after years of searching for one in great shape. I didn't expect to come across so much good information in this thread, and now I have more stuff to add to my list of to do. Much wisdom to be found here and more for me to learn from the sifus here. Stuff done by the previous owner: 1. Replaced the coolant pump (swapped out the original for a metal one) 2. Replaced the thermostat 3. Fitted with E46 330i front brakes & lines upgraded to steel braided 4. Fitted with Bilstein B4 suspensions with H&R lowered springs 5. Rebuilt VANOS 6. Replaced Ignition coil & spark plugs Stuff done so far aside from the regular service (since purchase): 1. Replaced the engine & transmission mounts 2. Replaced the steering rack with a recond one 3. Replaced the tie rods on both sides 4. Replaced the rubber hose/parts for the cooling system 5. Bleed out and replaced the brake fluid Stuff planned to be done in the near future (+ stuff from reading the whole thread): 1. Instrument cluster (current LCD is peeling off, cant get past my OCD) 2. Camber kit installation 3. Front & Rear strut tower reinforcements 4. Front strut bar 5. Front & Rear Sway bar & links 5. X-brace 6. Sunroof rubber seals 7. Paint fix to rid of imperfections (chips and minor scratches here & there) 8. Voltage regulator Feel free to suggest and recommend mods to add on to my list - just noticed the last post was 8 years ago, I hope some of you guys are still around and kept your e36, would love to hear from you guys. @Lee - seems like you frequent subang area quite a bit, are you still in the area ? Would like to learn from you guys if possible, are there any more TT sessions ?
