early 2007 i put in a new alarm system, "EL Tech" brand. then the car went into the paint shop for a new complexion. taking the car back after 2 weeks of heavy make over, i notice that the wiring had a problem. everytime i turn on the ignition, every single indicator on the meter flickers at random. then i took the car to one so called "bmw speciallist" shop... they kept the car for 3 days... nothings changed. as a metter of fact, i think it was getting worst! then my search for a good e34 wiremen begins... but to no avail. (plese propose me a good wiremen. thank you)last week i sent the car to a good shop, which i'd gladly recommend to all. but somethings never gets right! apart of making good of some oil leaks, they rewire my a/c fan and make good my "rojak" fuse box... the night after i took the car back, using the alarm remote, i couldnt get the car door open! the lock wont come up! so i opened the door with the key, and disarm the alarm. this later seems like the only way how i can get into the car for the next few days...then, the same night, after disarming the noise, i put the key in, turn it on... and this very loud noise came out! a screaching-screaming-banshee-like noise! i was able to drive the car back from OU to Bangi despite that scary noise which would simply go away after a while, then comes back as it like. the next day i went back to the car shop, they discovered that it was this connection, when they disconnect it, the noise goes away. after a gruelling 2 hours, they could not figure out the problem with the alarm system. i promise that i would come back tuesday 22/01 since their hustler boss would not be in until then. earlier today, like always i could not get the door lock to open, but to an addition, the car wont start either! i think the battery got kaput! i can change the battery, but that wont solve the problem. is it the alarm system? oris it the rojak wiring made good? or is it that disconnected socket?......and what was that sound coming in from the dash meter?what could have been draining the battery out? could it be that the alarm system is incompatible?is there a loose "wire-hidup" somewhere that causes the entire problem? or at least drain the battery?could it be that the accessory shop simply short wires for new connection without knowledge?i could not go back to the accessory shop as they would claim that it has been over a year and that many hands had been at the wiring thing.maybe it was the painter, accidentally messing up the wiring?could it be that first BMW shop?not trying to point fingers, but i need to know the cause, and i need a good solution. i need help... anybody... sob... sob...
