heard of ppl saying always leaking...

I used to drive a w124 230e ...it was imported and it had a powered sunroof (as opposed to a manual sunroof) ....despite being 7-8 years old (cant remember) the sunroof worked perfectly....the only problem was that u have to make sure it closed properly which sometimes meant opening and closing it several times so that it 'sat' properly when in closed position.....I think if mainatined well it shouldnt give u any problems....

Unless u thinking of retrofitting a sunroof...i dun have any experience with that....

i got the OE sunroof on my e30 & i love using it...also had it on my e36. there were no problems with them, except that i needed to change the rubber gasket for the e36 due to age & cracking..the e30 is still perfect!

My old beau sunroof still running on ori rubbers.......21.5 years old as today.

BMW....the name says it all.

P/s : for the E30, important is to make sure the drain channels inside your A & C pillars are clear of blockages......the roof seals are not designed to prevent any water from coming in. Hence, dun park the car under a tree okay?

i have not changed mine....so dun know. Fuhrer too, if I read correctly is still unchanged...so how? call & ask-lor.

btw, you can get sunroof for E30 here? could be very rare then & make sure motor works.....that one even more $$ to change! no, I dun know price also.

not yet have buy the car yet... thinking to buy one with sunroof.. so nice...

yes i worry the motor will be very expensive for me....

sunroof ah?hmmmm...all i gotta say is tht it makes a whole loaat difference when ur parked in the hot malaysian sun..cools down ur car a lot.
and driving in the night with ur sunroof popped up or fully wound back is sheer pleasure..
mine came with my car coz its a uk model...i'm just simply loving it.
in a nutshell...kinaka dude...if u wanna get it..go go go!
hakitrade has the 1/2 cut e30 roof with sunroof.

well half cut sunroof ? no le... since i still finding the coupe...
i prefer original come with sunroof
welding on the half cut macam duno how le.. hahaha
wasted le the ori hard top... hahaha
