Odometer gear set - RM 220.00 (BA quoted RM 100++ when i went there to buy my brake discs about 3-4 weeks ago, sigh hard earned money spent just like that).</p><p>4. Oil filter - RM 34.80 (2 yrs after that i bought oil filter from the spare part shop behind Kingswell and it costs RM 27.00).</p><p>5. Wiper blade 1 set (Bosch) - RM 35.00</p><p>6. - NASA fully synthetic engine oil (6 litre) - RM 217.50 (does E30 M40 engine need 6 litre?)</p><p>Kingswell is where i did my overhaul... imagine how much more of my $$$ they got from me by adding 25% or more margin on the parts. </p><p><em>Comment: Never went there anymore after the odometer change.</em></p><p></p><p><strong>Jun 2005 - TRB Automobile (mechanic biasa)</strong></p><p>One day i wanted to go to work and i could not get the car into gear. Clutch also feel super light. Went to the nearest mechanic in Pusat Bandar Puchong (where i use to stay).</p><p>1. Clutch pump (lower) - RM 350.00 (sure + >10% margin)</p><p>2. Clutch oil - RM 18.00</p><p>3. Workmanship - RM 22.00</p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Dec 2005 - M1 Kayu Ara</strong></p><p>My dad found out that Jeffrey from M1 was staying around his neighbourhood. And guess what, Jeffrey's son was my senior in Secondary school. What a coincidence. But they did not give preferential treatment lar when it comes to maintenance costs. Business is business i guess.</p><p>1. 2X Bulb - RM 8.00</p><p>2. Oil filter - RM 35.00 (25% more than if you get directly from spare parts shop)</p><p>3. 4X spark plugs - RM 52.00</p><p>4. Fuel line cleaner - RM 60.00</p><p>5. Engine flush - RM 60.00</p><p>6. Inspection Service 1 - RM 75.00</p><p>7. Tune up engine - RM 30.00</p><p>Items 6 & 7 total including service tax - RM 110.25</p><p></p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Mar 2006 - M1 Kayu Ara</strong></p><p>Right Front brake making noise when turning on long corners. Send them to M1 coz i don't know a thing about cars.</p><p>1. To remove right front brake disc - RM 45.00 + 5% service tax</p><p>2. To skim brake disc 2pcs - RM 70.00</p><p>(still made noise after that, sigh... and when i brought it back they said it is because there maybe small particles like sand and small stones that were stuck in the brakes but will wear off after awhile. 1 mth, 2mth, 3mth later still the same. was very disappointed with them.)</p><p></p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Dec 2006 - M1 Kayu Ara</strong></p><p>1. Fan belt - RM 27.60</p><p>2. Oil filter - RM 35.00</p><p>3. 4X spark plug - RM 52.00</p><p>4. Fuel injection cleaner - RM 60.00</p><p>5. Power steering belt - RM 18.00</p><p>6. Engine flush - RM 60.00</p><p>7. To carry out Inspection 1 - RM 75.00</p><p>8. Tune up engine - RM 30.00</p><p>Items 7 & 8 total including service charge - RM 110.25</p><p>9. Helix Plus 4litre - RM 87</p><p>10. Miscellaneous - RM 5.00 (what in the world is miscellaneous i don't know. should have asked).</p><p></p><p>Sent my car to M1 Kayu Ara again due to brake pads worn out. Can't find the bill will post when found.</p><p></p><p>After that my air-con blowing hot air in the afternoon. Send to M1 Kayu Ara to fix. Car came back blowing cold air, paid RM 400++ for don't know what service (need to find bill). one thing for sure is that they said nothing was wrong and just need to top up gas. After less than 6 mths air-con blowing hot air again.</p><p></p><p><strong>Apr 2007 - Kool-Aire Auto Air-cond (Sri Petaling)</strong></p><p>Replaced:</p><p>1. Rec. Drier - RM 60.00</p><p>2. Pressure switch - RM 85.00</p><p>3. Refill R12 gas - RM 25.00</p><p>4. Vacuum Oil R12 - RM 15.00</p><p>5. Nasa 2 in 1 R12 Compressor oil - RM 38.00</p><p>Total: RM 223.00</p><p>(The mechanic explain to me that my rec-drier and pressure switch confirm kaput and need to change. so no need to remove dash to check air-con unit.
