e30 "duk duk duk dukdukdukduk..." sound after installing a new wheel bearing to the front right and a new LH tie-rod, there is now a strange noise that sounds like "duk duk duk" below 50 and as i go faster it sounds like "dukdukdukdduk..." the pace quickens. this noise persists whichever direction i steer - left, straight or right. and it is more pronouced when i step on the brakes, like some kind of grinding noise. it feels like a patch of tire(s) is gone and the tire is no longer round???:( this noise developed after i did my second alignment: 1st alignment: +1.2mm +1.20 mm toe but the steering wasn't straight and so i asked to do the second one. i don't rememeber any "duk duk duk" noise. 2nd alignment: +2.2mm +2.2mm steering is straight but strange nosie appears. occasionally i find the steering harder to steer:confused: what is the recommened toe in for this lowered e30 car? the car is using Terra springs. so guys, what do you think is the culprit?
