There's this Taiwan made headlights that comes with in-built angel-eyes which costs about RM1700~1800. However, some of us here are working on ways to fit the angel-eyes to E30 lights. Hold your horses, we just might be able to do it. Will keep you informed. :yes:

Tried to open the driving lights (plastic frame) even with hot air gun, fail miserably. Hi-beams are quite easy to open. Also have to find the ccfl with e right diameter, e36 ones are abit too big.

Anyone want to try sommore, i have hot-air gun to lend :yes!:

Like mtek mentioned earlier, it can be done for the high beam but not the low beam. The low beam headlight is made of plastic. It is quite difficult to open the headlight without damaging it. Futhermore, the angel eye diameter is slightly larger than the diameter of the headlamp. :beaten:

but I see some guys install the angel eye on the outside of the headlamp. Not sure the picture posted up is installed inside or outside.

Please take note the CCFL Angel eye operated on high voltage. It will shorted out the inverter when water get into the wire if it is installed on the outside of the headlamp.

The plastic casing that I have mentioned is the headlamp casing...

Even if can be replaced, you still have the problem of melting the new headlamp..

but dont know lah how it's gonna be... the dude is from KL..
