[QUOTE="ahshawn, post: 718888, member: 43060"] Hi guys, Just to update and close this post, I finally had my door handles fixed, the repair for one handle only costed me RM130.00. I did not anticipate the difficulty in dismantling the handle itself as the mountings are using heat moulded rivets (or some sort) just as deviled76 mentioned. The handle had its rubber-like material stripped and resprayed to a matt-black finish. The finish should last a very long time, however I'm just a bit disappointed that the missing rubber-like material now leaves a small gap in the door panel where the handle sits. I guess this is a compromise unless you wanna purchase a brand new handle (which will not guarantee the problem wont repeat!) anyway here are the pictures, and thanks Herbert for the recommendation!
