DIY - Melted Plastic Trim For Speedometer BMW e39

U need to peel off the wood panel from the dashboard first .2. Disconnect all wire connections ( 3 points) before removing the whole unit from the dashboard. 3. Use sharp plastic knife ( cake knife ) to remove all melted paint from plastic trim. Avoid using sharp metal objects such as knife to prevent scratches on it surface.4. Apply heavy duty cleaning liquid (non-corrosive) on the surface and wipe with cloth to clean the whole part till the sticky paint residue completely wipe out. 5.
