Jarance, I think there's mis-understanding here... after careful reading about your post, now only I realise... What u mention above izzit referring to the headlight adjustment screws behind the headlight, under the bonnet? If yes, then all cars have it. My question was in my old E36, there's a dial on the dash board left hand side to the steering column to adjust the headlight heights when the car on the move. U adjust it on the fly, without stoping the car or open the bonnet and the purpose is to adjust the height of the headlight when it's aiming too high due to the excess baggage at your rear. Only height and not left/right as u mentioned above. The left/right adjustment screw is only available under the bonnet, NOT in the cockpit. This is the switch in E36: Anyway, I checked my car last night, the driver side headlight socket cover CONFIRM NOT THERE!!! Bloody hell! How can they miss this out? Its a RM220k new pre-reg car!! (7 month old now..) while checking last night, I also found a scar under the paint surface that cause uneven paint surface on my bumper, when squat down, can see clearly... arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh....... stupid BMW.. :( I think I have seen better finishing used BMWs around.. :(
