One sunday afternoon, finally decided to tackle the problem created by the guys at Naidu fixing my aircond.I googled, quick fix of using match stick to fix broken door by removing the dashboard wood panel from both sides. No luck.Move on to remove the radio unit, by pulling out the volume knob & undo the screw inside. Pull out radio & clean. Proceed to undo 2 screws to remove cassette deck. Try the cassette door & to my surprise its working. It seems the cassette deck is not fitted snugly enough for the door mechanism to latch on. Re-fit snugly cassette deck & screw tight. Test door mechanism again is ok before proceeding to refit the radio.Done in less than 5 minutes with 0 cost, what had been an eye sore for years.Cheers folks.:o
