For those who doesn't have any idea what Dice Silverline Pro is, here's a short introduction. Dice electronic is the company that produces Silverline Pro which is an interface for iPod/iPhone to connect to our BMW head unit. The kit connects to the head unit through the cd changer IBUS interface, so this kit will require you to disconnect your cd changer. The kit will let you view track info and browse your collection from the head unit or the iPod itself, use steering control to skip tracks and charges your device.More info here : http://diceelectronics.com/bmw.htmlBefore I start, here are some info regarding the car and the kit.Car: E46 sedan, wired for CD changer, Philips BMW business cassette head unitKit: DICE Silverline PRO, trunk interface $149.99Note: Try this at your own risk, I would not be responsible for any loss caused by following these installation steps.
